We have officially launched our website and The Loved Collection 🥰
Hellooooooooo 👋 how exciting that you are here! Thank you for choosing to check out this post and to learn a bit more about how The Loved Collection was made. This has been a labour of love for a few months, and a dream come true to now have a brand like by MAJOZI. that can house everything. We hope you enjoy this space and becoming a part of this beautiful community. Beyond the products we also can’t wait to share some inspiring stories from some of our friends who we admire and are inspired by, as well as some of our favourite local brands, spots and music.
We really appreciate everyone involved that has been a part of making all of this come to life, and would like to give some special shout outs to:
Johan van Tonder – photographer, our friend, a big inspiration, and the reason this website looks so good with such amazing photos 🥹 Thank you for your kindness, support over the years and for showing up with all your gifts to bless us and everyone who gets to experience all these pics on by MAJOZI. We also appreciate Michelle for being there on the shoot day to help with whatever was needed and to add her creativity. Thank you friends!
Ryan Amory of Africa Made Only – the man behind bringing all of our wild ideas into actual production. Thank you for your time, the countless calls, emails, messages and for all the liaising with the different parties to bring The Loved Collection to people. Thank you for encouraging us to just go for it (over the years), and sharing your knowledge and resources so freely. Your expertise is valued and we are grateful for your friendship too.
Our production teams – Thank you to every single one of you for having such an integral role in creating all these beautiful products. To Grant and your team of women in Lavender Hill, to Douglas our screen printer in Lansdowne, to our embroiderers in Ndabeni, to our label makers in Woodstock, to our sticker makers in Durbanville, to our printers in town, to our stamp makers in Edgemead, and to all the courier drivers in between, thank you thank you thank you.
Shawn Ogulu – the man, the myth, the legend, and plus one when in town. Thank you for so selflessly helping Daniela with getting the website ready, up till the last minute, and for teaching her over the years how to problem solve through all the website and tech things. Without your extremely valuable input, the launch would most likely have been delayed and there could have been a lot more uncertainty and a lot less confidence with pressing on. We love you man!
Tiff Tsoi and Annamaria Pennazzi – Thank you for being creative soundboards for Daniela. We love you and are so thankful for the feedback, celebrations, conversations of confusion and all the laughter. You are both inspirations of what it means to continue persevering through the storms whilst still extending love to those around you.
To our church community. Thank you for being our biggest cheerleaders and for all the prayers.
Christa from Yellow Lemon Photobooth – Thank you for being in our lives and helping us to capture memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for blessing us through your business by showing up and adding a little bit of magic to our events and for always being so kind.
To all of you – Thank you for taking the time to be here, for the support over the years of our different projects, the messages, conversations in person and the positive vibes you’ve been sending our way. We hope to impart even just a little of the joy and love that you’ve given to us.
There are many more thank yous, and we just hope that you know when we see you in person, we look forward to thanking you.
